Terms of use
Who provides the app
Studyshelf is provided by [YOUR LEGAL NAME] trading as Kaiwa AI (ABN [NUMBER]). By using Studyshelf you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If these terms conflict with Apple's EULA, these terms apply to the extent permitted.
Free use and subscriptions
Studyshelf is free to download. Subscriptions unlock [PLACEHOLDER: what a subscription includes].
Monthly: AUD 9.99 per month
Yearly: AUD 79.99 per year
Prices may differ in other countries and currencies, as shown in the App Store.
Free trial
New subscribers may get a 1-week free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged automatically. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your Apple account is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time in your Apple account settings (Settings > your name > Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Fair use
To keep the service fast and affordable for everyone, AI features have daily limits:

Your content
Your documents stay yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide the app's features. Only add documents you have the right to use.
AI answers
Answers and quizzes are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Check important information against your original documents.
Acceptable use
Don't use Studyshelf to break the law, to infringe others' rights, or to try to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Studyshelf is provided "as is" and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss. This doesn't exclude any guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
